FINDING GOD IN ALL THINGS
Finding God in all things starts with noticing...being aware...
David L. Fleming, S.J., noted authority on the Spiritual Exercises and Ignatian Spirituality speaks of FINDING GOD IN ALL THINGS in this way:
“NOTICING alerted Ignatius to the many ways that God communicates with us in everyday life…
God is ever-present, constantly in touch, communicating with us in many ways: in prayer and reading scripture, of course, but also through the events of our lives-through the people we meet and the work we do, through the things we see and hear, through our interior moods and affections.

"God’s voice is usually quiet, often indirect. He is heard as the prophet Elijah heard him, in ‘a tiny whispering sound.’ Ignatius knew that the ears of our heart have to be trained to detect God’s voice, and he developed techniques to do this.
"God is speaking to us in many ways in our everyday life. Ignatius said,’All the things in this world are here so that we can know God more easily.”
