Creighton University, School of Pharmacy and Health Professions

Spirituality

Welcome!

Our Mission: As chaplains furthering the Jesuit Mission at Creighton University in the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, we strive to foster the spiritual awareness and growth of students, faculty, staff and alumni in an interfaith, interdisciplinary community, inviting them to connect with their own spirituality or religious traditions as well as the Ignatian Values our school has adopted  - “Cura Personalis”, “Magis”, "Finding God in All Things," "Men and Women For and With Others" and "A Faith that does Justice". By inviting Ignatian Values to “come alive” in the ordinary and every-day, we hope to deepen the appreciation for and application of them in our personal and professional lives and our Creighton community.
We also strive to encourage awareness of one’s “true self”, one’s vocation or “calling” in life, one’s place in community and of one’s experience of God (Ultimate Meaning) through a ministry of presence, of nurturing relationships, and of modeling collaboration with individuals and groups, in formal and informal settings. Simply put, we are here to be present with students, staff, faculty and alumni as we all deal with the opportunities and challenges of daily life.
  • We minister across all programs of SPAHP – Emergency Medical Services, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy and Physical Therapy.
  • We pray together every Monday and Tuesday @ 12:30 PM in Criss 2nd floor Chapel (Rm 202)
