| Program Admission |
Students who wish to apply for admission to this program should obtain an application from the Graduate School of Creighton University. Applications will be accepted until April 15 of each year for admission in the fall semester of the following academic year. Prospective students will be admitted to the M.S. program on a competitive basis.
In addition to the general requirements for an M.S. degree as described in the Graduate School Bulletin of Creighton University, the following requirements must also be met by the applicant:
- Students must possess a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent and meet the general requirements for advanced degrees according to the Graduate School Bulletin.
- Students who are in the Pharm.D. program must complete the application procedure required by the Graduate School in order to participate in the M.S. program in pharmaceutical sciences. This procedure is outlined in the Graduate School Bulletin.
- A maximum of four credit hours of seminar and a maximum of eight credit hours of thesis can be applied toward the M.S. degree.
- Not more than 12 credit hours of Pharm.D. courses can be applied toward the M.S. degree.
- A minimum of 12 credit hours must be earned in courses that are not listed as required courses for the Pharm.D. degree.
- A minimum of 30 credit hours will be required for graduation.
