Every year, the American Association for Colleges of Pharmacy and Wal-Mart team up to give scholarships to those individuals "who aspire to join the faculties of our expanding programs across the country." The scholar program aims to strengthen the recipients skills and commitment to a career in pharmacy. This year, three individuals associated with Creighton received the scholarship: Drs. Daniel Aistrope, Kevin Fuji, and Kimberly Galt.
Aistrope is a 2008 graduate and Fuji is a 2007 graduate from the Creighton University Doctor of Pharmacy program. Fuji now works in the Creighton Health Services Research Program. Kimberly Galt is the Associate Dean for Research, a Professor in the department of Pharmacy Practice, and the Director for the Creighton Health Services Research Program.
