Three New Members on the Alumni Advisory Board


The Creighton School of Pharmacy and Health Professions welcomes three new pharmacy members to the Alumni Advisory Board.

The School of Pharmacy and Health Professions welcomed three new Alumni Advisory Board (AAB) members at the annual AAB Spring meeting held on March 27, 2009.

 

Marty Feltner, PharmD 1999; Ryan Jacobsen, PharmD 2002; and Stephanie Maciejewski, PharmD 1995 are the newest members of the Alumni Advisory Board and will all hold at least four year term on the board.  As a part of the board these members will represent alumni at various receptions, professional conferences, the annual Alumni Reunion Weekend, and other activities sponsored by the School’s Alumni Relation’s office. 

 

Marty Feltner is currently the pharmacist-in-charge at a Kohll’s Pharmacy and Homecare in Omaha and is an associate professor of pharmacy at Creighton University.  Feltner is also a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine and the Pharmacy Academic Council on Travel Medicine, the American Pharmacy Association, the Nebraska Pharmacists Association, and the Creighton Phi Delta Theta Alumni Association.  He has been awarded the Creighton School of Pharmacy and Health Professions Young Alumni Appreciation Award and the Nebraska Innovative Pharmacist Practice Award. 

 

Ryan Jacobsen is currently employed as the pharmacy manager, ambulatory care at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City and he is also an adjunct assistant professor at the University of Iowa.  Jacobsen is a member of the American Pharmacists Association and the American Society of Health System Pharmacists.  He is also a member of the Iowa Pharmacists Association (IPA), where is involved in the Legislative Advisory Committee.  Jacobsen has been awarded the Excellence in Clinical Rotations Award from Creighton University and he has also been a participant in the IPA Pharmacy Leadership Conference.

 

Stephanie Maciejewski is currently employed as Administrative Director of Research and the Director of Therapeutic Monitoring at the Creighton Cardiac Center and she is also an assistant clinical professor for the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions.  Maciejewski is also an organizer of the Omaha Area Pharmacist Journal Club and a member of the Nebraska Pharmacist Association, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and the American Colleges of Clinical Pharmacy.  She is also a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa National Honor Leadership Society and as named the Creighton Cardiac Center Employee of the Quarter.
