Topic: The Medically Complex Patient: Where do you begin?

Objectives:
- Define what is a medically complex rehab ptient.
- Describe conditions a physical therapist must consider that may impact physical activity or movement.
- Discuss the role of the physical therapist in the management of the medically complex rehab patient.
- Discuss the role of the pharmacists in the management of the medically complex rehab patient.
- Discuss the role of the occupational therapist in the management of the medically complex rehab patient.
Participants will receive two contact hour of continuing education credit for sucessfully completing this program. There is no cost for Creighton Alumni or SPAHP and Tenet Health employees to attend this program. The general registration fee is $25.00.
Participants are invited to attend a dinner with exhibitors at 6 p.m.

Topic: Vulnerable Adults and Children: What health care professionals need to know.

- Describe the role and responsibilities of health care professionals in reporting abuse.
- Identify the characteristics of an abusive situation.
- Describe the types of abuse that must be reported.
Participants will receive two contact hour of continuing education credit for sucessfully completing this program. There is no cost for Creighton Alumni or SPAHP and Tenet Health employees to attend this program. The general registration fee is $25.00.
Participants are invited to attend a lunch with exhibitors at 12 p.m.
