The primary mission of the Office of Assessment (OA) is to provide a systematic and comprehensive approach to the evaluation of all programs within the complex academic environment of the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions (SPAHP) at Creighton University. A primary goal is to evaluate practices across programs using common assessment instruments while allowing customization by individual programs. Two assumptions are inherent to all assessment activities within OA. First, all evaluative practices emphasize the use of sophisticated evaluative methods and instruments with substantial reliability and validity evidence. Second, all evaluative activities are guided by the SPAHP Mission and Vision statements.
