In this issue, we reflect on the legacy of leadership well established in the School, with the example of the recently established Jensen Scholarship as one of several scholarships awarded during the Honors Convocation April 2013.

In this issue, we reflect with pride on the accomplishments of 2012, and look forward to 2013 with Dr. Bradberry's appointment as interim VP for Academic Affairs and Dr. Roche's as acting dean for SPAHP, the launch of "Tomorrow's Alumni" prospective student referral program and the continued recognition of SPAHP alumni, faculty and staff for professional excellence.

#7 July 2012
Pharmacy graduate Edward Saito of Honolulu received the prestigious Spirit of Creighton Award at the University's commencement ceremonies on May 12. In the eNewsletter, Dean Bradberry discusses the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions new strategic plan.    
 

#6 February 2012
SPAHP celebrated its first cohort of students from the Alaska OTD initiative during the December 2011 commencement, and the University celebrated our founders with a series of events during Founders Week held February 2012.   
  

#5 - October 2011 
Doug Pick, BSPha’83, (pictured) was honored during the Alumni Weekend as the recipient of the Alumni Merit Award. In the e-Newsletter, a new section focusing on our clinical education efforts was introduced and alumni receiving awards during Alumni Weekend 2011 were highlighted.

The world is a better place by more than 200 health professionals after the Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions held graduation ceremonies May 13-14 for the class of 2011.


Plunging Into Service

#3 - March 2011
Whether it's diving into frigid waters as part of a "polar plunge" to benefit Special Olympics; raising funds for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; or engaging in community partnerships through the School's award-winning OISSE, Creighton students and faculty are very involved in service to others.
 


Celebrating a Strong Bond

As members of the Creighton Pharmacy Class of 1960 returned to campus for Alumni Weekend 2010 to celebrate their 50-year reunion, they reminisced about their time at Creighton, the friendships forged, and how their education prepared them for their careers ... and for life. 
 

Graduation a Family Affair
#1 - June 2010
Margaret Manion sat quietly, celebrating the present and reflecting on the past, as her granddaughter, Margaret (Maggie) Sleigh, walked across the stage to accept her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Creighton University’s May 2010 commencement ceremony. Maggie had the distinction of being part of the largest graduating doctoral degree class in the history of the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. But that’s not all that made her unique.
