Message from Dr. C. Curt Barr, R.Ph., Assistant Dean for Alumni Relations   

With a record-setting alumni attendance at the Creighton "Alumni & Friends" reception during ASHP in Las Vegas Dec. 3, our season of hosting SPAHP events during national professional meetings had a great start!  We also have thoroughly enjoyed visiting with the alumni and students who attended the APTA reception Jan. 22 and the APhA receptoin Mar. 2.  And, mahalo to the great Creighton SPAHP alumni Dean Bradberry and I had the pleasure of dining with in Honolulu Jan. 12!  Pictures from these events can be found on Facebook. 

During the month of April, the SPAHP alumni relations team will host SPAHP alumni during the Honors Convocation Apr. 2, at the Alumni Advsiory Board meeting Apr. 19 and with a reception at AOTA Apr. 26.  Of course, Omaha-area alumni should save the date of Tuesday, May 14 for our 10th annual Get Blue! It was with pride that we recognized Samuel DeLong, OTD'05, Kerry Witek-Parsons, Pharm.D.'05 and Matthew Briggs, DPT'05 with the SPAHP Young Alumni Appreciation Awards presented at the Honors Convocation Apr. 2.  Read in the SPAHP News Gallery how these recent graduates have distinguished themselves in their professional practice and are serving their communities.  

We were so proud to honor Christopher J. Forst, BSPHA'81, as the 2012 Alumni Merit Award recipient at many of the events during the Creighton Alumni Weekend Sept. 20-23, 2012.  Congratulations, Chris!  Please mark your calendars to save the dates Sept. 19-22, 2013 for the next Creighton Alumni Homecoming Weekend.
