Distance Pathway students are required to be on the
Creighton University campus for an estimated two
weeks each summer to complete the laboratory courses
in a condensed manner.
A total of 10 semester hours of elective coursework must be completed in the program. Electives do not need to be taken as shown. Additional details are available in the School Bulletin.

Elective Clinical Rotations
The remaining three (3) rotations are elective by must
be selected so as to provide a variety of professional
experiences. Students are encouraged to enroll in
clinical rotations that will expose them to direct
patient contact and clinical service, distributive
functions, and nontraditional practices. The
experiential year has been designed to graduate a
generalist practitioner who is highly qualified to enter
practice or pursue advances study in the clinical,
administrative, or basic pharmaceutical sciences.

Victoria F. Roche, Ph.D., professor of pharmacy sciences and senior associate dean at the Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions, received the 2007 Robert K. Chalmers Distinguished Pharmacy Educator Award presented by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) during its annual meeting in July 2007.
