Services

The School of Pharmacy and Health Professions (SPAHP) Office of Research has a primary role of service to the SPAHP faculty, staff and students by providing leadership in facilitating research and development to support faculty, student and staff research initiatives.

Provide:
• guidance, service, and identification of:
        basic science research opportunities
        clinical research opportunities
        educational research opportunities
        health services research opportunities
        technological support for research

• administrative review of grant applications

• support for faculty, students and staff:
        grant preparation guidance
        reviewing manuscripts
        assistance with funding opportunities
        human subject and animal compliance
        HIPAA regulation compliance
        investigator support services
        core research and laboratory facilities assistance
        facilitate services related to information technology related to research
        research and scholarship dissemination
        developed research initiatives

• service of interpreting agency regulations and guidelines

Assure:
• the training and education in the ethical and legal conduct of research for:
        committee members
        investigators
        staff
        students

• basic science and laboratory facilities compliance

• biostatistician support

• research assistant support

Foster:
• interdepartmental and interdisciplinary (collaborative research)

• collaboration between basic and clinical investigators to promote translational research

Disseminate:
• material received from the Creighton University Grants Administration Office

Enhance:
• industry-sponsored clinical research programs

• Books/Resources are available for a month period and can be checked out from the Office of Research - Boyne 144.
