Biography:
Kelli L. Coover received her Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln in 1985 and her Pharm.D. from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Pharmacy in 1992. She has dedicated her professional career to providing pharmaceutical care to geriatric patients, consulting services to long-term facilities and education to pharmacy students. She is a Fellow of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, holds a Certification in Geriatric Pharmacy and has served as the pharmacy consultant for the Nebraska Geriatric Education Center. Currently, she is on faculty at Creighton University School of Pharmacy and Health Professions. She collaborates with Creighton University’s Office of Interprofessional Scholarship, Service and Education on a regular basis providing health care promotions and educational seminars for geriatric groups. Her primary teaching responsibilities include the Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience Courses, an elective Interprofessional Geriatric Pharmacy Course and the geriatric lectures for the Therapeutics. Clinically, she provides consulting services for GeriMed, Inc. in Omaha, Nebraska.
