Biography:
Dr. Barr is a native of Lincoln, Nebraska. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Stanford University in 1991 before returning to his home state to study physical therapy. He was part of the first graduating class in physical therapy at Creighton University, earning his DPT in 1996. Dr. Barr initailly practiced in a rural setting, treating a diverse patient population, including outpatient orthopedics, acute care, home health care, and long-term care, before joining the faculty at Creighton in 1998. His teaching responsibilities lie in the clinical sciences and his clinical practice duties are primarily in outpatient orthopedics. Dr. Barr's interests include residency education in physical therapy, primary care in orthopedics, manual therapy, and technology in PT practice and education. He is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association and the Orthopedic Section of the APTA.
